Enduring Friendships

It’s so inspiring to know that true friendships never die. It’s been months since I last saw her, but there’s this feeling that you can still talk and listen to each other for hours and hours wherever topics lead you. The excitement of updating on each other, even on the most trivial things, is one of the few treasures in life no money can buy.

Thank you very much to my First Ever UP Diliman Friend who took the time to make a poem for me. I’m so honored and overwhelmed as no one has ever done this for me before. 🙂

I want to share this poem written by My First Ever UP Diliman friend, Mandeep Kaur Ranu

“My First Ever UP Diliman Friend… bow~”
Mandeep Kaur Ranu

tila isang panaginep
nang una kitang makita sa anthro dep
hinding hindi ko malilimot
pati suot na polo ni sir Bot

di ko pa man alam ang iyong pangalan
halos sabay tayong nagtungo sa AS wan-o-wan
pareho tayong parang napisang cake

three hours noon ang ating laging break

aba ginoong *a***! kay yaman mo pala!

wala akong masabi kundi “takning dana!”

mag-a-apply akong assistant mo.
kaya kailangan big time ka na nun. lab lab lab kitaaaaa
